Company Description: Bonté Bakery makes gluten-free artisan bread and cookies without sacrificing taste. The majority of our ingredients are organic, and sourced as locally as possible. Bonté Bakery currently sells bread and pizza crusts to a number of vendors in central Vermont. There has been a high level of demand for our products. Over the next several months we plan to expand our sales to new markets within and outside of Vermont, increase production and add to our product line. Our new hires will be an essential part of this growing business.
General Job Description: Being part of a team responsible for baking various types of gluten-free bread and pizza crust to supply our wholesale and online customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Weighing ingredients, mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking bread.
Carefully managing production and timing to maintain a tight daily baking schedule.
Ensuring quality control on bakery products.
Maintaining a clean kitchen during and after baking.
Packaging bakery products.
Qualifications:
Good work ethic
Ability to work and communicate well with others
Detail oriented
Good time management and planning skills
Ability to read and follow recipes
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to carry 50 lb bags of flour multiple times per day
